We are God’s Purpose.

Audio from PLIR Prayerful Living Internet Radio. https://prayerfulliving.com/healingmusic/inspiration-weekly.html.

We are God’s purpose, His only reason for being. He created us in His image, and we are His Idea, here to express Him. We are the evidence of His existence, but He can only work through us when we open our hearts and invite Him in, and that comes through humility.

When we hold our thought on the good and the true, He will form us anew. We become carefree and strong and are here for all to witness His likeness.

Our journey here is not always easy. In Psalms 23, it states, “though I walk THROUGH the valley of the shadow of death,” it doesn’t say to stop and become embroiled in all the minutiae of this mortal world. God wants us to see and live in His creation, and we can only do that by becoming aware that we ARE His reflection and act like it.

When I say, “God, I cannot do this on my own, not my will, but thine be done,” then let go, and have faith that He will be there for me, things happen, allowing me to move ahead peacefully, or He sends me a great idea on how to solve the problem.

This is what I’m trying to share with all of you, my concept of how this is done. I am not responsible for how others live their lives. If I can be an example to others and inspire them to, “…seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matt. 6:33) then I feel blessed.

God wants to be shared; that is how to achieve world peace. One person at a time. In this experience, there is much discord. Still, I don’t let that distract me from knowing that spiritually I live in everlasting harmony. God needs to be understood, not just believed. Logic and reason help in that endeavor. A right understanding of God brings peace.

We are God’s purpose; He is knowable and provable and can be understood. To do that, I learned I had to give myself over to him 100% with deep thought and desire. It is hard to do this 24/7 but, in the moments I do, He lifts me out of whatever I am struggling with at the time.

Jesus said in Luke 11:9-10, “And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

When I first started to seek God, my thoughts were consumed with my search, I spent every spare minute I had researching books of all sorts, and my life started changing. I was seeing the world through a different lens. I no longer saw life through the eyes of an abused child but from God’s point of view.

God knows what I need, so I don’t ask. In prayer, I turn away from the mortal existence, to Spirit. He knows when I am sincere, and my desire is true, then He sets me on the right path, and that brings harmony, but this won’t happen if I give up because I think He is taking too long. If it doesn’t happen in an hour, a week, or a month or year, I learned to keep holding to God’s POV, or things would never change. My life did not change overnight; it took five years, but change it did. Little changes came quickly, and that is what made me keep going. The more significant changes took time, but that was not God’s fault, it was my lack of understanding. When I finally understood something, and was able to apply that understanding to my life, the changes happened.

If I hadn’t kept a journal of everything that happened in my past, I could not have written my book. When I look at the pages of my book now, I think, gee did that really happen. I no longer remember the abuse in my childhood, but I know I would not have kept a journal of something that was not true. From God’s point of view, I was never abused; I am always His adored child.

I know it sounds like viewing the world from God’s point of view seems like living in La La land, especially when we see the discord around us, but that is the only way to change things. Hold to His point of view. What you see is what you get, so stop seeing all the discord. Please do what you can to change it and let it go, don’t be consumed by it.

I figure I must be doing something right; my life now is so peaceful. I am happy, active, and healthy. I love writing these blogs, and they help keep my thought in the right place. I am blown away when I see between my Facebook business Page and my website; I now have 712 followers. I see other sites that have thousands of followers, but I am amazed that so many people find value in what I write.

The words that I write are not mine. Everything I know I have learned from others that went before me. The Bible and the Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy are presently my most significant sources of information. Neither book is easy to read. They take a lot of study to understand, but my desire to know God drives me on.

Thank you all for reading my blogs. Your likes, comments, and shares are much appreciated.

So, let us all go out there in 2020 and let God know, by expressing His qualities, we understand that we are His purpose, His only reason for being. He put us here to care for his universe, but it seems we need to work harder at that. A subject for another blog. 😊

Have a great day! Michele
